Cederick Taylor

Community Co-Chair

Cederick Taylor is a vibrant person who is passionate about public education and community development. He was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where he developed an early interest in the fine arts. Cederick earned his Fire Fighting I and II certifications at Cuyahoga County Community College before going on to acquire his CHW (Community Health Worker) certification from the Ohio Board of Nursing at Cleveland State University, where he is now a professor for the CHW cohort.
Since then, he has coordinated several successful community outreach programs and has participated on a number of boards and committees dedicated to increasing economic possibilities for underrepresented communities. Cederick enjoys kayaking, traveling, and competing in motor races in his spare time.
Cederick's aim is to advocate for communities that lack access to education and experience worse than ideal outcomes.
