Dr. Sharon A. Riddler, MD, MPH

Dr. Riddler is a Professor of Medicine and the Associate Chief for Clinical Research in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Riddler’s career has been built upon collaborative clinical research projects focused on HIV/AIDS and she has expertise in clinical trial design and implementation including protocol development, regulatory reviews, data collection systems, budgeting, recruitment, and retention. She is the Co-PI of the NIH/DAIDS-funded Pitt-OSU HIV/AIDS Clinical Trials Unit (affiliated with both the AIDS Clinical Trials Group and the HIV Vaccine Trials Network) and PI or Co-PI for two ongoing U01 funded investigator-initiated Phase 1 clinical trials. Dr. Riddler is care provider for PLWH at the Ryan White funded Pittsburgh Center for AIDS Treatment (PACT) clinic at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
